Thursday 14th April card one
Hi Everyone,
I have been busy doing sample knitting which needed to be done quickly and at the same time I have been trying to do some card making. I have made a few cards over the last few days, one if for Gills RAK club and the others are "spares"
This is the RAK club card, I did a bit of distressing on the topper and backing papers, used some paper flowers which I punched out from one of my Martha Stewart punches and some butchers twine wrapped round my topper, which is a Thomas Kinkade London painting from the DVD from Joanna Sheen. I used Sepia glossy accents on parts of the topper.

Tartan blog hop
Hi There,
If you are taking part in the hop then you are at the right place if you have just come across this posting while browsing around in blog land then feel free to hop along.
If you have arrived here from www.scrapanddash.com then you are on the right track but if not then you need to go and start at the beginning http://creationsbygillm.bl ogspot.com/
This is a hop with a difference as along the hop there are letters to find in the postings - not all blogs have the letters but if you gather all the letters then at the end of the hop assemble them to create a scottish themed word. If you then return to Gill http://creationsbygillm.bl ogspot.com/ and enter the Mr Linky at the bottom of the post (do not reveal the secret word yet). After the hop Gill will contact someone at random and ask them to email her with the word - if correct they win some lovely candy.
Now on to my project - I have created one project for this hop.If you are taking part in the hop then you are at the right place if you have just come across this posting while browsing around in blog land then feel free to hop along.

"A Cornish heritage card"
The centre of the painted daisy flowers are made from flowersoft and the flowers are Sheena paint fusion stamps. The background paper are printed boats, the writing is a letraset rub on alphabet sheet. The paper flowers and tag on the bottom corner were made up from a die and using my cuttlebug and a brad to secure them all together. Ribbon was from my craft stash as was the card that the Cornish Heritage wording is on.
Now back to the hop - I can now reveal my hidden blog hop letter is H remember to collect all the letters from the hop and assemble to form a scottish word then return to Gill's blog at the end of the hop and enter the Mr linky (not revealing the word) for your chance to win candy.
Thank you for stopping by.

Last post for tonight, a less is more get well soon card
Can't believe that I have posted 3 cards today! This one is a "less is more" kind of card, its a NSR print which I have coloured with very light promarkers, using the same sort of method as Sheena did her daisy paintings,(two colours on the petals) , simple but sometimes thats all that is needed... no fuss.
I used some fancy cut scissors to cut round the print, and the messages is from my hand held Xyron printer.

A little puppy waiting at the window.......aaahhh
This card has been made with one of Joanna Sheen's CDs, I printed this out ages ago as when you see all the lovely pictures on the CDs you just want them all, and after cleaning up my craft area I have put these altogether and have promised myself to make them up before printing new ones out, so have load to make of different pictures.
I did not put any greeting on yet as I have not decided what to use.... so I suppose it will be left unfinished until it is needed.
A little notelet card
Hi Everyone,
I have spent the day doing crafts and amongst some of the cards is this little notelet card that I did, its from a NSR print which I coloured with promarkers and then added some faux gems to the centres and also on each corner of the card, a thin yellow ribbon to complete.

Wish you were in Paris card
Hi Everyone,
I had this printed out from one of my many CD's and so made up this card, all the items were from some preprinted papers I had and the flowers are from my craft stash. The lables I have had for years, but just keep forgetting to rumage through them.

first card for April
I made this card for my Aunt who is in hospital at the moment and it looks like she will be in for a while, so thought this might cheer her up. She loves these baby pictures so I have used a Joanna Sheen CDs for this card, and some sparkle and flowers from my craft stash. the butterfly charm is from The Ribbon Girl.

sorry for the lack of posts
Hi everyone,
I am sorry that I have not put any posts on my blog at the moment, hope to get back to normal on the weekend. I have been helping my friend and neighbour who has a cat about 9 years old who had an eye op (which ended up a blind eye) in November last year, we got over that and last week Friday we noticed that Sammy the cat had an infection in this same eye, so off we went to the vets (my car) only to find that the pressure in that eye was so high, should be around 25 and it was in the 80's so off we went to the pets hospital for a pressure test etc and after discussions with the vet she decided the best thing was to have the eye removed, so the op was schedule for that day (Monday) we came back home (the morning gone by) and waited to hear how the op went. We were told the eye was removed and he came through ok, and to fetch him on Tuesday morning, so off we went back to the pet hospital on Tuesday and found out that the op might have damaged the optic nerve of the other eye, but we have to wait and see, the pupil is so large you cant see the colour of the rest of the eye. Shame poor little boy, comes home with a collar on, eye stitched up and as it is his hearing is not really very good, We took him back yesterday for a check up, he is not eating, cant seem to chew, but drinking water, we thought he might have been in loads of pain so the vet has changed his meds and we are due to go back again this afternoon to see what next. In the meantime my friend who is not a well person as it is, is fretting and I'm going to help with meds and taking the collar off to see if he will eat without it.... making it a very bitty day not able to really get down to do any cards, loads of ideas in my mind, I have to do some cards for some family members who are sick and one Aunty who is in hospital so hope to catch up this weekend. But in between I am checking out everyones posts in the time I have.
Thanks for your understanding and enjoy your crafting day.
