My Fair Lady Blog Hop 17th March 09h00 GMT

Welcome to the My Fair Lady Blog Hop which has been organised by Gill M at Creationsbygillm. This hop is for those of us who like vintage type ladies and glitter and bling. If you have come to my page first please click on Gill's link http://creationsbygillm.blogspot.com and start your blog hop there, if you have come http://debbeescds.blogspot.co.uk/  you are on the right track as this hop is for one day only.  Thank you for hopping with us today and hope that you loved all the interpretations of My fair ladies!

I used Hunkydory cardstock, the elements are from the same kit which I got some time ago, the flowers, ribbons, sparkles and stickers I had in my craft stash. I made this card using 3 card blanks which are all stuck together forming from above a cross, I then decorated each card so that when it is standing you have something all round to look at. It folds into a A4 style envelope and so its easy to post. I put ribbon bows on each end of the cards at different levels so that when the card is lying flat in a A4 the ribbons form part of the decoration. I have also put in some sentiments and words that I think relate to that time. This sort of card would be nice on a table where it can been seen from all angles and not just put on a shelf in the living room!

I hope that you have enjoyed my craft project of my Fair Lady, it would be great if you could add your comments as that's what I enjoy the most when doing hops, is hearing what everyone else thinks. Please click on http://lorbysworld.blogspot.co.uk/ to carry on with the hop. Happy crafting everyone and thank you for stopping by.

a Very Important Date.... congratulations card!

Hi Everyone.

I have been playing with MCS (My Craft Studio) books with the different images in and also doing other projects for  later posts  This one is one of the images. I don't usually do these kind of cards but gave it a go anyway. I used a nice copper coloured card which I got last year and then the bits a pieces from the "A very important date" MCS book. I added blue ribbon from my craft stash and a glaze to the tunic that the rabbit is wearing. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your days of crafting.

An Engagement and Anniversary Card

Hi Everyone, Sorry for not being active on my blog for a few months, I was busy working which gave me no time for enjoyment. I am now back again and hope to be able to balance my life better.

I have made two cards for members of my family, one is an engagement card for a lovely couple and I felt that this card was perfect for them. I used MCS CD's for the images and sentiments. I also used my Crafters Companion board for the cream hearts and lovely card. This card was just  under the A4 size I only did a A5 front page so that the flowers and sentiment became part of the front page, the hearts are on the inside of the front page of the card. I used red roses, gems and ribbon which I got from the Ribbon Girl website and other card from my craft stash.

The second card is for my Brother Marc and his Wife Maureen, who have been married for 25 years on the 28th February, I can still remember the wedding!! how time flies. Anyway I made this card with a silver theme, It is a big card and again not a normal fold,  I used a topper with swans and the flowers which I made with my Martha Stewart flower punch, I have added silver ribbon roses in all the silver flowers and then I added clear gems in the lace card flowers, I have not got this in the photo but at the end I added them. I also used silver card and again MCS CD's and some other items from my craft stash. I have posted this to them so hope they receive it in good order and on time as they do not live in the UK. Happy Anniversary to both of them!

Thank you for visiting my blog and it would be great to hear what you think of my cards.

Happy crafting everyone.

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad

Hi Everyone, well this is the last card that I am publishing for 2011, it had to be my Parents anniversary card, they have been married today for 52 years and I just want to say I love you both and so look forward to seeing you in March 2012.

This card I made from items in my stash, I wanted to make a special card, something that I don't do often is less is more, so this is what I have done, an elegant card using everything in white except the purple/red big rose. I first stamped and embossed a heart down the centre of the card, then put two strips of double sided tape on either side and used the glitter. I made the flower using the doilies, white flowers, white feathers and put it together using gel glue. Glitter, feathers, doilies, clear gems, double sided tape, white pearl liquid, and white flowers were used on this card.  enjoy !

I would also like to add this to my December published item for Vintage Heartfelt Designs.

Thank you for stopping by, please feel free to leave your comments, I love receiving them. Happy New Year to Everyone.

Happy New Year to Everyone

Hello Everyone,

Happy New Year to you all, and wish you all the very best for 2012. Looking back over 2011, I can not believe now I have managed to change my card designs and progress to what I am able to do now, I have had some very difficult times during 2011 and my crafting and this blog and all my followers and blogs that I have followed kept me going, and I thank you all for that, I have managed to bring myself out of the "black hole" and now working 40 hours a week, crafting, and going to do my final exam for my certificate that I have been trying to do for at least a year and half. I have a card to make for my Parents who married over 50 years ago on the 31st December, so that will be my last publication for this year!

Here are a few of the cards that I really enjoyed making in 2011

and my little fur babies, can't resist putting them in here as they kept me smiling all year!

Thank you for stopping by, if you want to leave any comments you are welcome, I also want to thank all my followers for supporting me and also to the Blog Design groups and its members for giving me a chance.

happy crafting everyone
