Christmas is for Kids - Special Needs Children Blog Hop for 6th November 2nd day

Welcome everyone to my Blog.
I would like to say a big thank you to Ellen at Cardmonkey http://cardmonkey-business.blogspot.com/  for hosting this blog hop as its for such a good cause and I hope everyone who visits the blog hop enjoys seeing all the banners as much as the Kids will when they received them to hang in their hospital ward.

Now if you have come from Carol Carlson http://cardstockscissorsandglue.blogspot.com/ then you have come to the right place, but if you want to start from the beginning, please click on Ellen at Cardmonkey link above and you can get the whole blog hop addresses to visit.

We have all donated Christmas banners for these special kids in hospital, ages from newborn to 21, who reside at Pediatric Specialty Care (www.pediatricspecialty.com) a group home for medically - fragile, technologically-dependent children in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

I have made a banner from recycled cards (doing my bit for the environment at the same time) which I have embellished myself, with glitter, gems, white flowersoft for the snow, flowers and used gold ribbon to put it all together. I have used the theme of snow globes, which really could be used during any winter holiday time as a banner.

This is my Christmas / Holiday banner

And there's BLOG CANDY to be had!!  THANK YOU to our generous sponsors who have provided prizes to those who hop along. Here are our sponsors and their prizes:
One winner will receive four free digi-images of
their own choosing from www.MeljenDesigns.com!

www.HappyScrappy.us will provide one winner with a code
valued at $20 toward your purchase from their terrific site!

Beautiful ribbons, embellishments, charms and more are on the
http://meiflower.co.uk site.  They'll be giving a voucher valued approx $32 USD.
All hoppers are eligible to win.  Here's how:

Follow the blog and comment on as many projects as you choose -- the more blogs where you comment and follow, the more chances you have to win. There's just one catch: please actually comment on the project, which shows you've looked at the project, not just cut/pasting random comments ("CUTE! TYFS") only to win the prize.

Debbie, your snow globe banner is simply GORGEOUS. It can be used throughout the winter season, and will be loved by the children at Pediatric Specialty Care, along with the staff and families.

I SO appreciate your joining us on this banner hop, and the extra effort you put into sending the banner to me "across the pond." I hope you and yours are truly blessed for the kindness you have shown.

Fondly,

I love that you reused some of your older Christmas cards for this... I used some of my older ones to make tags for Christmas. I like that you made snowglobes.

Our family enjoys snow globes; especially our daughter so we like you banner. The old-fashioned look is nostalgic.

How neat that you were able to recycle cards. We use them to decorate placemats (as a service project) for the homeless during the holiday season.

I would love to know if you have a die-cut to create the snow globe or if you do it by hand. Great job!

Love snow globes and would never have thought to use them in a banner. Love the fact that you used old cards to create the snow globe scenes and added your artistic touches to make them extra special. Thanks for the inspiration
