Tartan blog hop

Hi There,

If you are taking part in the hop then you are at the right place if you have just come across this posting while browsing around in blog land then feel free to hop along.

If you have arrived here from www.scrapanddash.com   then you are on the right track but if not then you need to go and start at the beginning  http://creationsbygillm.blogspot.com/

This is a hop with a difference as along the hop there are  letters to find in the postings - not all blogs have the letters but if you gather all the letters then at the end of the hop assemble them to create a scottish themed word. If you then return to Gill  http://creationsbygillm.blogspot.com/ and enter the Mr Linky at the bottom of the post (do not reveal the secret  word yet). After the hop Gill will contact someone at random and ask them to email her with the word - if correct they win some lovely candy.

Now on to my project  - I have created one project for this hop.

"A Cornish heritage card"

The centre of the painted daisy flowers are made from flowersoft and the flowers are Sheena paint fusion stamps. The background paper are printed boats, the writing is a letraset rub on alphabet sheet. The paper flowers and tag on the bottom corner were made up from a die and using my cuttlebug and a brad to secure them all together. Ribbon was from my craft stash as was the card that the Cornish Heritage wording is on.

So there we have it – my first blog hop entry – hope you like it and I'd appreciate it if you could leave me a comment. If you do like what you see and wanna see more then I'd love it if you would become one of my ever growing list of followers.

Now back to the hop - I can  now reveal my hidden blog hop letter is H remember to collect all the letters from the hop and assemble to form a scottish word then return to Gill's blog at the end of the hop and enter the Mr linky (not revealing the word) for your chance to win candy.

Thank you for stopping by.

Last post for tonight, a less is more get well soon card

Can't believe that I have posted 3 cards today! This one is a "less is more" kind of card, its a NSR print which I have coloured with very light promarkers, using the same sort of method as Sheena did her daisy paintings,(two colours on the petals) , simple but sometimes thats all that is needed... no fuss.

I used some fancy cut scissors to cut round the print, and the messages is from my hand held Xyron printer.

A little puppy waiting at the window.......aaahhh

This card has been made with one of Joanna Sheen's CDs, I printed this out ages ago as when you see all the lovely pictures on the CDs you just want them all, and after cleaning up my craft area I have put these altogether and have promised myself to make them up before printing new ones out, so have load to make of different pictures.

I have used backing papers from different papers sets, but the actual card was printed from the same CD as the topper. The  ribbon flowers, butterfly lace and lace leaves are from my sewing stash... which seems to been used more in my paper crafts than actual sewing.....

I did not put any greeting on yet as I have not decided what to use.... so I suppose it will be left unfinished until it is needed.

A little notelet card

Hi Everyone,

I have spent the day doing crafts and amongst some of the cards is this little notelet card that I did, its from a NSR print which I coloured with promarkers and then added some faux gems to the centres and also on each corner of the card, a thin yellow ribbon to complete.
