CBGM BLOG SKETCH CHALLENGE #11 - SUMMER HOLIDAY THEME

Morning Everyone,

Sorry for being a bit late in posting this, my dog walking took longer than I thought!

Gill from CreationsbyGillm selected me to do a Guest spot on her CBGM Blog Challenge and this week it was the challenge #11 with the theme "Summer Holiday "

All the papers and embellishments are from my craft cupboard and photos. The papers for the Maldives page are Hot of the Press A4 pages and the tags are ordinary postage tags. The poppy and papers are Anna Griffin and the flower is 3D in parts.

I would like to thank Gill from Creations by Gill M for the chance to share these with you today and also show you that making scrap pages don't have to be difficult or stressful.

A Happy 40th Birthday card

Morning Everyone,

I have made this birthday card for a person turning 40.  All the papers (Anna Griffin) and embellishments are from my craft stash , flowers from WOC and the message is made by using my Xyron printer machine...

My craft area .... show and tell!!!

Hi Everyone,

I am noticing that alot of bloggers are showing off their work areas, and they all the same.,... so much stash in one place LOL.

This is my craft area in my lounge.  I have all my stash hidden behind the material blind that my cousin kindly made for me, she is a wizzard on the machine and makes these and curtains for a living. I got my furniture and storage from Ikea, actually got the idea from another crafter along the way. I just could not have all my stash on show as it's part of the lounge, so I can now roll down the blind when I am not using it or having people around.

I have sorted out these cubby holes since taking this photo and labled up what lives where also eaten all the sweets stored in one!! (LOL)

Now you can see why I am using up my stash instead of buying new, as space is really limited!!

Storage is nicely covered up and looks great. I need to re-cover my typist chair in the spotty material or do a cushion to fit in. (not to say it stays this way!)

So its off to the corner of the room with a cuppa tea and craft time today.

Happy 4th of July to all my American friends and followers, I hope the summer weather is good to you and your celebrations are going well. Fireworks and food..... great fun!  Happy birthday to my Brother who is having a birthday dinner 9000 miles away from where I am, will be thinking of you Marc

I don't have a card as yet as I have a very sore neck, shoulder and arm which seems to either be a pulled muscle or I slept wrong, it keeps going into spasms when I move. So I am doing very little at the moment, I hope that later I can get to do a card and now that I am not able to physically make one .... I want to - strange that feeling.

Anyway enjoy your lovely days wherever you are .
