Design Team Birthday Blog - 30 & 31 July

Hello Everyone

This blog hop is different as you will be viewing many creations but not doing many hop stops. This is a Design Team blog hop with a line up of 8 Design Teams showcasing their creations. We are celebrating Jenn's birthday with other Designers. So if you stop by today to see what they are up to, I would encourage you to visit Vintage Heartfelt Design Blog to get all of the details on how to participate in the hop. Some of the design teams will be offering up blog candy, and if you’d like to be eligible for the grand prize, you must follow all the design team blogs and comment on all the posts.

So click here to start the blog hop http://vintageheartfeltdesigns.blogspot.com/

I have submitted cards for Vintage Heartfelt Designs http://vintageheartfeltdesigns.blogspot.com/
and creations by Gill M http://creationsbygillm.blogspot.com/

Vintage Heartfelt Design Blog,(I am a design team member) is first on the list and this is my card I submitted:

This birthday card I made using a image from the double sprinkles of kraft cd by polka Doodles and coloured in with promarkers . I embossed purple card for the corners and strip down the side and used ribbon and flowers from my craft stash.

Creations by Gill M"  and the DT  team is called "CBGM DT" they are third on the list http://creationsbygillm.blogspot.com/ and this is my card that I submitted :

This card was made using a 3D image from Crafters Companion which I built up, stamped with distress ink in green, Happy Birthday and also went round the edge of the card in green picking up the embossing. I used liquid white pearl round the image to blend it onto the white card. A  cream seam binding ribbon bow and a few clear gems on the corners and on the middle of the bow to finish it off. I wanted to make something "less fussy" but with some detail, and a touch of glitter on the roses!

Thanks for stopping by and please check out the other blogs as you might be lucky to win some craft candy!!

Flowers, liquid pearls, ribbons and beads were used in the floral decorations. Happy Christmas greeting was from my craft stash from Kanban products in the UK.
